This is EXTREME. Magnificent. This man, Alan Sailer, shoots pellets into *things* and takes photos of them with a special camera that can photograph things that quickly. You may have seen his work already from a while back on the New York Times Magazine cover with the different vegetable exploding. Here are my two favorite from this

this one is a pellet breaking glass.
But don't forget to go to the site, because it had a buncha really cool pics! Especially this one where he shot the pellet at a razor blade being held in a clamp, and the pellet was sliced in half!
